Conditions Treated by Acupuncture

In 2003, the World Health Organization (WHO) published a report entitled "Acupuncture: Review and Analysis of Reports on Controlled Clinical Trials."  The report cited conditions for which acupuncture proved to be an effective treatment during clinical research trials.

Below is a list that includes conditions cited in the WHO report along with other conditions that have withstood the test of time (over thousands of years) to become generally accepted as responding well to acupuncture.  This list is not exhaustive. There are many conditions that may be treated by acupuncture, which are not listed below.  Please contact us to discuss your condition and with any questions that you might have concerning acupuncture.

GENERAL HEALTH & WELLNESS

You do not need to have something "wrong" with you to benefit from acupuncture!

Common “side effects” of acupuncture include: stress relief, increased energy and vitality, a good night's sleep, and an overall sense of calmness and well-being.
